Aptiv offers many different roles for growth. In electronic engineering your role may look like:
Support Electronics Engineers in advanced product design process. You'll have the opportunity to verify these products in state-of-the-art electronic and EMC laboratories, utilizing cutting-edge measurement devices. You will gain experience in problem-solving activities led by our most experienced engineers.
Support Electronics CAD Engineers in PCB design and documentation process. You will have opportunity to learn from our senior engineers how to ensure the product meets the highest automotive quality standards.
Support Electronics Simulation and Analysis Engineers to simulate high-speed interfaces, complex power distribution networks or laboratory measurements. Prepare models and infrastructure for electrical simulations and perform basic circuit evaluations.
YOUR BACKGROUND:
Basic understanding of electronics components and circuits
Good analytical skills proven in understanding basic physics
Ability to read documentation
Student status (preferable electronic studies or similar)
Availability - minimum 20 h per week
English skills (preferably B2)
A great opportunity to automotive enthusiasts
Nice to have:
Ability to use measurement instruments
Ability to solder THT, SMT and BGA devices
Modelling and simulation skills (e.g. SPICE or math-based tools)
Ability to work in electronic design CAD environment (e.g. Mentor Graphics, Altium, Eagle)
Basic knowledge of EMC/EMI issues
Scripting skills (e.g. Python)
