Position Summary:
As an Intern Software License Engineer, you will support Aptiv's open-source compliance efforts by monitoring and analyzing open-source software usage. You will work with Black Duck software to assess potential risks, track vulnerabilities, and contribute to process automation through Python scripting.
Your Role:
- Utilizing Black Duck software for open-source analysis
- Monitoring open-source software used within Aptiv
- Tracking and assessing vulnerabilities (CVEs) in open-source components
- Developing and maintaining Python scripts to automate compliance processes
- Collaborating with software teams to align with the release plan
Your Background:
- Availability of at least 20 hours per week
- Familiarity with Python programming
- Understanding of open-source licenses and compliance principles
- Basic knowledge of Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs)
- Excellent English skills (B2+)
