YOUR ROLE:
As a Prototype Coordinator Intern on our team, you’ll play a key role in assisting with the planning, budgeting, and coordination of prototype builds. This position involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, managing logistics and component availability, and supporting the overall efficiency of the prototype development process.
In your daily job you will:
Support Prototype Coordinator/Leader in maintaining a plan to build prototypes for various projects
Support Prototype Coordinator/Leader in controlling budget for prototype need
Defining the prototype's needs for individual components of the prototype project based on technical documentation
Tracking orders of individual items and ensuring the availability of individual components
Cooperation with electrical, mechanical and product validation teams
Cooperation with Aptiv logistics departments and suppliers
Protecting confidential information and taking care of the company's property
Support organizing components in warehouse
Active participation in creating new and improving existing processes in the Prototype Team
Preparing component shipments to factories/external SMT companies, creating summary lists and stay in contact to verify delivery
YOUR BACKGROUND:
Key skills and competencies for succeeding in this role are:
During higher technical or economic education – student status required
Knowledge of English
Availability minimum 20 hours per week
Team player
Communication skills
Analytical skills
Knowledge of MS Office – VBA knowledge would be an additional asset
SAP knowledge would be an additional asset
