Junior AP Accountants process invoices and expenses, with a higher level of functional/technical knowledge. They play a more independent role in reviewing and entering invoices into the system accurately and in a timely manner. They also act as a point of contact between internal and external customers, addressing inquiries and providing timely responses. Associates ensure adherence to company policies while assisting employees with the application of Accounts Payable and Travel & Expense policies. This role may also support the team in preparing reports and open balances reconciliation.
Responsibilities:
Verifying invoices for completeness and compliance with company policies.
Processing /coding suppliers’ invoices
Ensuring invoices are ready for the timely payments
Assisting in suppliers open items clearing
Preparing accounts reconciliation
Supporting Month & Year End Closing Processes
Cooperation with Vendor Master Data & Payments Team
Dealing with supplier and stakeholders queries
Preparing basic Accounts Payable reports
Requirements:
University degree (BA or Master’s) in Economy, Finance & Accounting, Business Administration or another related field
Approximately 1 year of experience working in a BPO/SSC/GBS environment or Accounting Office
Fluent English (B2/C1 level)
High-level proficiency in Microsoft Office – PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook
SAP4 HANA knowledge will be an asset
Advanced planning, prioritization and problem solving skills
Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external vendors or clients, including drafting emails, reports, and presentations
Ability to adapt to and implement new processes or technologies that increase the efficiency of the accounting team.
Confidence to forge strong and successful working relationships sense of service and ability to create additional demand through quality of delivery
Presence in the office 40% of monthly working time
