The position
Looking for a role where you are responsible for performing operational sourcing activities and category management support. If you are keen to support Sourcing organization in a very autonomous manner within the assigned categories in accordance with category strategies/sourcing card that have been developed by Global Category Managers, then this is your place to be.
Tasks & responsibilities
As an Operational Sourcing Support Expert, you are responsible for overall operational sourcing activities for Germany, working closely with Global Category Managers or Sourcing Managers, following internal and external compliance regulations
You support demand management by creating and maintaining new demands in the system
You support Category Manager/Sourcing Manager to conduct a comprehensive supply market analysis utilizing available methodologies
You create in the tool the Rfx Process including preparation, execution, evaluation and approval of RfX in line with Sourcing Card instructions in close collaboration with Global Category Managers/Sourcing Managers
You run RFx Process end to end including the selection of the right template, in line with Sourcing Card instructions
You review and maintain contracts in-line with instructions
About our future employee
You should speak English fluently (C1 level) and have min. 4 years of professional experience in a Sourcing related position.
Additionally, we are looking for:
Min. bachelor's degree preferably in Economics, Purchasing or Procurement field
Min. 2 years of experience with SAP Ariba sourcing
Distinct empathy, team spirit, accountability, intrapreneurship, and a high service orientation with a continuous improvement mindset
Customer orientation even in difficult situations and in contact with higher hierarchy levels
Proven problem-solving ability to manage complex and/or sensitive situations to successfully recommend, influence and implement solutions which may require engaging different levels within the organization
Excellent analytical skills, strategic mind-set and capable of prioritizing
Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills
Preferably working experience with SAP, ServiceNow, MS Office (advanced in Excel)
