The position
Looking for a role where you will not only offer services in the area of Product Costing and Inventory Accounting for EMEA entities but also take part in process optimization and development of further innovative processes within the new GBS Centre?
Tasks & responsibilities
- Primary responsible for the execution of daily Product Costing and Inventory Accounting (PCIA) processes across various markets: - Month-end activities (stock reconciliation, write-down provision, inventory valuation) - Material master data maintenance.
- Preparation of analyses including ad-hoc reports.
- Ensures compliance with global processes within the area of responsibility.
- Supports continuous improvement projects.
- Supports the creation and development of documentation/training materials and concepts.
- Responsible for process descriptions and system user manuals.
- Supports/executing daily business in the Product Costing and Inventory Accounting area.
- Responsible for following current GBS- and corporate procedures and guidelines dedicated to Finance.
About our future employee
We are looking for a motivated person with min. 1 year of professional experience in finance, preferably in the accounting/controlling area.
Additionally, we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Controlling, Finance or similar field
- Management Accounting know-how (an advantage)
- SAP experience (a plus)
- Very good English in reading, writing and speaking
- Customer-oriented attitude with strong communication skills
- Willingness to learn and attention to detail
- Good team player working towards common team objectives
- Knowledge in MS Office Tools
- Positive approach with the ability to come up with ideas in our Speak culture
