he Copernicus Science Centre (Centrum Nauki Kopernik) is excited to offer an opportunity for a paid internship within our Research Department. We are at the brink of a new era with the launch of the Copernican Revolution Lab, which aims to redefine and revolutionize educational paradigms. Our mission is to develop state-of-the-art educational tools, engaging exhibits, and innovatiove programs designed to equip future generations with the essential knowledge and skills to face and shape upcoming challenges.
As part of this pioneering initiative, we are in search of a dynamic individual to collaborate with us in forging these path-breaking solutions. This is your chance to contribute to a project that aims to harmonize human progress with nature through scientific innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
Participate in ongoing research projects, contributing from the conceptualization of tools to data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
Engage in active research projects, contributing from the conceptual phase of tool design through to data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
Conduct comprehensive literature reviews and compile studies to support research objectives.
Play an integral role in the planning and execution of research studies, including the procurement of necessary consents.
Assist in the design and execution of research studies, including securing necessary consents.
Take the lead in recruiting research participants, managing communications, and maintaining robust engagement.
Participate in the critical debriefing phase, where findings are analyzed and key conclusions are drawn.
Requirements:
A university degree (at least a bachelor's) in the social sciences or a related field
Interest in learning processes, education, and Art & Science
Experience working with children is an advantage.
Basic knowledge of research design and implementation, with a willingness to develop these skills further.
Proficiency in Polish (minimum C1) and strong English skills are an asset.
A clean criminal record (required for roles involving interactions with children).
Availability and strong professional commitment.
Certificate of no criminal record - it is a must

What We Offer:
A three-month paid internship in the Research Department of the Copernicus Science Centre, available for two periods: April 1, 2025 – June 30, 2025, or August 1, 2025 – October 31, 2025.
Flexible working hours from Monday to Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
An internship certificate with recommendations.
