Job Description
You will become part of a client service team, which consists of a Senior Banker, Relationship Manager, Client Managers, and Product Specialists. You will oversee AML within the team's portfolio in this role.
AML work for LC&I is allocated between AML analysts and AML Client Managers. Analysts conduct the initial analysis of customer relationships, identify missing documentation, and prepare risk assessments. AML Client Managers handle client contact, gather documentation, and assess overall risk. Ad-hoc AML-related tasks may arise, and opportunities to participate in project work as part of Financial Crime Prevention (FCP) will be available.
We seek a solution-focused colleague with effective relationship management skills to engage with the client service team, clients, and internal stakeholders. Our new colleague should be independent and organised, ensuring timely collection of KYC information. You will manage multiple cases at various stages and should show effective prioritization in a busy work environment.
Know Your Customer (KYC) information is primarily obtained through digital solutions. Client communication typically occurs in writing, though some prefer meetings or phone calls.
Please note that this is a fixed-term contract for maternity cover (expected duration: around 12 months).

You will:
Ongoing customer due diligence, enhanced due diligence, event-driven reviews, transaction inquiries
Managing sanction risk
Performing risk assessments for internal committees
Conduct the initial analysis of customer relationships, identify missing documentation, and prepare risk assessments
About you:
You have at a minimum, 2 years of experience in banking, engaging with significant clients and in international companies
You have at a minimum, 2 years of experience with KYC in a reporting business
You possess an undergraduate degree in finance, economics, or a legal field
Fluency in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken, at a proficient level is required for this role
Experience in direct customer engagement is paramount
