Would you like to play a pivotal role in one of the bank’s most dynamic areas and help our business units implement robust data management and data protection practices? If you are ready to take ownership and navigate complexity, this opportunity in Poland could be your next career step.
About the department
The Business Data Office, operating across Denmark, Sweden, and Poland, plays a central role in Danske Bank’s aim to become a fully data-driven organisation. With a strong focus on both data management and GDPR compliance, the team supports our 3 commercial business units on data management and data protection, ensuring high-quality data supports every decision, customer interaction, and internal process.
Meet the team
You will become part of a team of highly skilled and motivated professionals who thrive in a collaborative, supportive, and continually evolving environment. We work together to overcome challenges, support each other, and find fulfillment in getting results. Our culture values openness, professionalism, and the ability to navigate a fast-changing landscape where no two days are the same.
Your role and responsibilities
As a Consultant in the Business Data Office, you will play a key role in the implementation of new data management and data protection solution. While you don’t need to be an expert in these areas, strong project/stakeholder management skills and the ability to navigate complexity are essential for success. You will act as a key link between Group-wide programmes and our business units, ensuring alignment and progress in a diverse and dynamic environment.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Collaborating with other specialists and coordinating the implementation of data management and data protection practices
Representing the business units in large-scale Group programmes and acting as a bridge between programme planning and delivery.
Educating and supporting colleagues on GDPR and data management practices.
Driving stakeholder management, follow-ups, and communication to ensure great outcomes in projects where data management and data protection are priorities.
Monitoring and escalating data quality and GDPR compliance issues while facilitating the documentation of data lineage and supporting business-as-usual processes.
What we are looking for
We are seeking a self-driven individual who thrives in a flexible, dynamic environment. While prior experience with data management (data quality, meta data collection, data lineage) and data protection is highly beneficial, the right attitude and a willingness to learn are equally important.
To perform well in this role, you should have:
Strong background in project management, change management, risk management, or related fields (experience in the financial sector is a plus)
A strong academic background and at least 2 years of experience with data management, data protection, project coordination, or related areas (a legal background is not required but is a plus).
Stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams and management levels.
A positive approach, combined with the skill to manage ambiguity and address challenges.
Experience with data management tool Collibra and/or data protection tool OneTrust is a plus
Why join us?
As part of the Business Data Office, you will have the opportunity to work in a supportive, inclusive team where your contributions are valued, and your growth is supported. You will join an international group known for its strong collaboration, autonomy, and commitment to understanding developments in data management and protection. You will play a key role in shaping the future of Danske Bank’s data-driven journey while enjoying a dynamic and rewarding work environment.

We prioritise work-life balance and employee motivation, offering a rich and comprehensive benefits package. We value well-being, team spirit, and creating a positive atmosphere in the office. While working from home is allowed, we expect physical presence in the office at least three days per week from our Polen office to stay connected and integrated.
