Junior E-Commerce Content Specialis

Your mission

Join our Marketplace team as a Junior E-Commerce Content Specialist, a role focused on validating and moderating artworks submitted by artists to the Displate platform. In this position, you will ensure that all published content complies with Displate’s Internal Content Policies and Requirements, while upholding our quality standards, brand safety guidelines, and commercial expectations. This role plays a vital part in protecting the platform from legal risk and delivering a consistent, trustworthy experience for customers, artists, and brand partners alike.

Your responsibilities

• Review and validate artist-submitted artworks prior to publication on the Displate Marketplace.

• Ensure all artworks comply with Displate’s content policies and internal IP requirements.

• Identify potential issues, including:

  • Print quality and production readiness in line with Displate’s quality standards

  • Visual elements requiring additional compliance or policy review

  • Content falling under restricted or prohibited categories

• Apply moderation decisions consistently and in accordance with established guidelines.

• Validate artwork titles, descriptions, and metadata for accuracy, relevance, and policy compliance.

• Ensure alignment between visual content and accompanying written descriptions.

• Flag misleading, incomplete, or policy-inconsistent information for correction or escalation.

• Apply Displate’s content, brand, and compliance policies across all submissions.

• Assess potential legal and reputational risks associated with artwork publication.

• Escalate complex, high-risk, or ambiguous cases to senior team members when necessary.

• Support enforcement actions such as rejections, removals, or artist warnings in line with internal policies.

• Accurately document validation decisions, actions taken, and supporting rationale in internal systems.

• Maintain clear records to support audits, appeals, and historical case reviews.

• Contribute to the improvement of internal documentation, guidelines, and validation workflows.

Your skills & experience

• Bachelor’s degree (or ongoing studies) in Law, Arts, Design, Media Studies, Communication, or a related field is a plus.

• Previous experience in one or more of the following areas is preferred:
  - Content moderation or validation
  - E-commerce or marketplace operations
  -Trust & Safety, Compliance, or Brand Protection roles

• Strong awareness of global pop culture, including entertainment, sports, gaming, brands, and digital trends (must-have).

• High attention to detail with the ability to critically assess both visual and written content.

• Strong written communication skills in English.

• Ability to follow structured processes, guidelines, and compliance frameworks consistently.

• Proficiency with digital tools, spreadsheets, and content management systems.
