Join the Dolby Vision technology team. A successful candidate will have an opportunity to create, improve and drive the development of the video technologies offered in various software form factors by Dolby Laboratories in the consumer devices (TV’s, Smartphones, Tablets etc.) and the Professional Software used by the most influential technology companies in the world. The role is part of the engineering team in Wroclaw, Poland, and provides opportunity to connect with other Dolby engineering and business entities in the USA and Germany.
Responsibilities:
Setup, configure, and maintain test environments.
Create and maintain QA environment as well as execute tests.
Utilize and adapt existing test automation scripts.
Analyze test results to ensure that the product functions according to requirements.
Report issues through a formal bug tracking system and work with the engineering team to help isolate, debug, and resolve issues/bugs.
Stay abreast of industry QA tools and best practices.
Requirements:
Python programming skills.
Video encoding basics.
Understanding of the SDR and HDR video standards.
Interest in video field.
Good English spoken and written communication skills.
Nice to have:
Basic understanding of QA responsibilities in Software Development process.
Interest in maths, physics, electrical engineering, or computer science.
