About the role
Join our team as a Junior Collections Specialist and become responsible for managing payments for group insurance policies, allocating funds, preparing statements, monitoring transactions, and resolving discrepancies.
How you will get the job done
managing and monitoring incoming payments for group insurance policies
allocating funds to individual contracts and insured persons according to the contract terms
preparing individual statements as well as individual correspondence and answering telephone inquiries from internal and external partners
assisting in the preparation of reports and analyses related to group billing
reviewing and recording partner settlements
monitoring of timely settlement transactions
adjusting billing/booking differences
Skills and experience you will need
fluency in both German and English (B2/C1)
university degree
knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel)
first professional experience in accounting
independence of action and a sense of responsibility for the tasks assigned
ability to record, evaluate and reorganize professional and technical processes
drive to develop in the area of finance, specifically collections
Nice to have
knowledge of forms of insurance and the legal basis of the insurance contract
