ML Engineer Intern Gdansk

Essential functions

• Learning under the supervision of an experienced programmer

• Spend 30 hours per week for 6 months on developing yourself in your chosen field

• Working closely with your mentor on daily tasks

Qualifications

• Enough time to spend at least 6 hours a day on education

• Highly motivated to develop skills and grow as a Machine Learning Engineer

• Technical education (BS or MS in technical field, may be currently pursuing the degree)

• Good knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals: Algorithms and Data Structures.

• Basic knowledge of Bash scripting

• Basic engineering skills in Python, experience with VCS (preferably Git)

• Basic understanding of Docker

• Basic knowledge of relational databases and DDL/DML syntax (e.g. MySQL)

• Basic understanding of Data Science and statistics concepts

• Intermediate English

Would be a plus

• Experience with cloud services: GCP / Azure / AWS. Especially valuable if ML-services were used

• Proved experience in Python engineering

• Experience of using web frameworks (Flask, FastAPI, Django, Gunicorn)

• Experience of using Data Science tools and frameworks: Jupyter, Scikit-learn, Pandas, TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch

• Experience of using BigData tools and frameworks: Spark (PySpark), Hadoop, Hive

• Knowledge of Java/Scala

• Understanding of machine learning lifecycle and experience with related tools (MLflow, DVC)

• Domain knowledge outside of computer science field
