Are you a finance or accounting student eager to gain hands-on experience in a global organization? Join our dynamic and collaborative General Ledger (GL) team at Hitachi Energy for a 3-month internship that offers real-world exposure to core accounting processes, mentorship from experienced professionals, and the opportunity to contribute to meaningful financial operations.
As a GL Accounting Intern, you’ll support our experienced finance team in daily and monthly accounting activities. You’ll gain insight into how a multinational company manages its financial reporting and compliance, while developing practical skills
HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT:
Assisting with general accounting tasks such as journal entries and reconciliations
Supporting the month-end close process
Learning how to use ERP systems (SAP 4Hana)
Collaborating with cross-functional teams including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Financial Controllers
Participating in internal control procedures and documentation
Observing how we adapt accounting practices to changing business needs and regulations
YOUR BACKGROUND:
A university student currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, graduating in 2026 or later
Eager to learn and contribute in a fast-paced, international environment
Comfortable using Microsoft Excel (basic functions and pivot tables are a plus)
Proficient in English (written and spoken)
Detail-oriented, analytical, and a team player
