The Role
An inclusive, innovative global FMCG business supported by 25,000 employees is looking for a Finance Process Automation Intern.
This role will help work with the various finance areas to help the teams automate certain tasks using macros, scripts, power automate and other Office 365 tools. You will receive an excellent opportunity to apply your skills in a large corporate environment and to be able to gain valuable real-world experience.
You will also be able to work with the continuous improvement champions to help build your wider understanding of processes and how to support their enhancement.
Key Accountabilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional finance teams to understand needs and then help with design and implement automation to finance documents, processes, reporting,
- Develop and maintain automated solutions,
- Share knowledge of maintaining implemented solution with Finance users,
- Evaluate new tools and technologies,
- Monitor and analyse test results for implemented improvement with users,
- Support in problem-solving brainstorming sessions and actively seek opportunities to learn and develop new skills in continuous improvements and automation.
Skills & Experience
- Currently pursuing a qualification related to computer science, information technology, programming,
- Excellent use of Microsoft Office tools - Word, Excel and Teams,
- A good knowledge of writing and maintenance of macros (VBA),
- Attention to detail and good organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills,
- Eagerness to learn, motivation and ability to work collaboratively with a team,
- Communication English skills,
- Knowledge of programing languages and other automated tools like Phyton, RPA, Alteryx, knowledge of BI, AI and Office 365 would be a plus.
