Objectives of this role:
- conduct an exploratory analysis of the effectiveness of the out-of-home network, with a particular focus on first and last mile optimisation to improve overall network efficiency
- develop and present insights and recommendations based on the analysis conducted
- work with all our markets to develop advanced operational analytics with a focus on improving the efficiency of the OOH network
- build models to support management decision making
- design and develop new KPIs in line with business objectives to track performance
- create and maintain documentation of analysis, KPIs and business definitions
Required skills and qualifications:
- fluency in English for verbal and written communication
- proven experience as a data analyst or similar role
- ability to work with large data sets, optimise queries/calculations and visualise data
- ability to identify relationships between different pieces of information, draw logical and reliable conclusions and communicate them in a business-friendly manner
- ability to apply statistical and mathematical knowledge to analysis
- knowledge of Python (numpy, pandas, matplotlib, seaborn)
- strong knowledge of SQL to build database queries
- experience of working with data from a variety of sources (e.g. DWH, DataLake, Databricks, SQL and noSQL databases)
- strong analytical skills
- excellent organisational skills, proactive attitude and ability to work effectively under time pressure
- willingness to travel abroad up to 10% depending on business needs
Preferred skills and qualifications:
- practical knowledge of MS Azure (e.g. Data Lake, Databricks)
- knowledge of other languages (French, Spanish, Italian)
- familiarity with tools like JIRA and Confluence
