Project
We're looking for a Frontend Developer to join a team supporting key systems within the retirement and investment domain. You will be part of a team responsible for maintaining and supporting several critical applications in this area. These include systems for managing retirement savings accounts, calculating capital gains tax from stock trading, and facilitating general meetings. The team ensures transparent stakeholder communication, proper documentation of meeting outcomes, and secure digital voting processes. We are also responsible for keeping all systems stable, secure, and fully compliant with relevant regulations.
What you will be doing
Developing the frontend of web applications based on provided UX/UI designs
Maintaining and optimizing existing applications
Refactoring code to improve its quality, readability, and usability
Fixing bugs and addressing security vulnerabilities
Expanding and modifying components in the internal component library
Collaborating with backend, UX/UI, and QA teams
Expected competences and knowledge
2+ years of commercial experience in frontend development
Knowledge of React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript
Understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and styling with LESS
Familiarity with React Router for navigation and Formik for form management
Exposure to testing tools such as Jest and React Testing Library
Experience working with build tools like Webpack or Vite
Familiarity with Node.js as part of the frontend workflow
