Work tasks and technologies
Testing and quality assurance are a crucial part of the IT solutions we develop together with our customers. You will be involved in testing mission-critical IT systems that are important not only to our public or private sector customers but to people across society.
You will always be part of a project team with colleagues from Netcompany. You will continuously develop your professional and technical testing skills. Throughout the projects, you will gain access to a wide range of the latest technologies and tools. Your primary tasks will include:
Assuring solution quality through various types of testing
Analyzing both functional and non-functional aspects of the solution
Designing and documenting comprehensive test cases
Executing functional, non-functional, and regression tests
Developing test strategies and detailed test plans
Contributing to defect troubleshooting and test reporting
About you
You can work methodically and connect the dots between business and IT technical issues, and you can explain business needs to developers and technical aspects to the customer. Additionally, we imagine that you:
Are able to see through complex error scenarios and can manage complex system landscapes
Are systematic and detail-oriented in the analysis, design, development, and testing phases
Think logically and analytically, are able to break down and understand complex concepts, and can communicate problems and deficiencies clearly and distinctly
Thrive with a methodical and structured approach to tasks
Qualifications
Master's degree within a relevant IT or STEM specialization OR Bachelor's degree with minimum 1 year of relevant commercial experience after graduation.
Willingness to cooperate directly with external customers
Very good command of English, both spoken and written
Strong teamwork & communication skills
Ability to design test cases and test scenarios independently
Solid understanding of SDLC, testing methodologies and test types (both functional and non-functional)
Nice to have
Basic experience in test automation (writing or maintaining automated tests).
Basic knowledge of API testing tools (e.g. Postman).
Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation.
Experience with test management tools (e.g. TestRail).
