ABOUT THE ROLE:
Are you ready to begin your professional journey in Reservoir Engineering and contribute to decision-making for assets around the world?
In Technical Asset Support (TAS) — part of Shell’s Projects & Technology organization — you’ll join a global network of technical specialists who support asset teams across regions, time zones, and disciplines.
From Kraków, you will be an integrated member of subsurface and reservoir engineering teams, helping them access high quality data, improve workflows, and unlock insights that shape the future of our reservoirs.
The Reservoir Engineer – Junior Data Analyst role is designed for Early Careers talent who are eager to start a technical path in subsurface engineering.
In this role, you will work closely with reservoir engineering and subsurface colleagues from global assets, helping streamline, document, and improve data management processes related to Well, Reservoir, and Facility Management (WRFM).
You will support assets by preparing reservoir performance data, integrating subsurface information, improving data quality, and contributing to analyses that support decisions on reserves, production forecasting, and resource maturation.
This is an excellent opportunity to build a strong foundation in reservoir engineering, data analysis, and upstream operations, while working in a collaborative, international environment.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Collaborate with global assets
Capture and update key reservoir properties, fluid data, pressure data, and other subsurface inputs.
Support WRFM and annual reporting cycles
Contribute to subsurface analytics
Integrate multiple data types (production, injection, pressure, fluid, etc.) to generate meaningful insights.
Support reservoir engineering workflows
Engage and contribute to community development
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Education
University degree in Geoscience, Reservoir Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Experience
Technical Skills (required or desirable)
Basic understanding of subsurface data types: production, injection, fluid and pressure data, reservoir properties.
Soft Skills
WHAT YOU WILL GET:
