We’re currently looking for: Junior Accounting Specialist

This is a hybrid position, with the requirement to come to the office at least once a week.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Verify, input, and book documents

  • Analyze and reconcile receivables and payables

  • Confirm and match balances with domestic and international contractors

  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes

  • Ensure smooth document flow and manage settlements

  • Book invoices for VAT records

  • Reconcile bank statements

  • Set up and reverse cost provisions

  • Periodic support in preparing audit documentation

  • Help the chief accountant with tax declaration preparation

  • Assist with creating quarterly and annual financial reports and other company reports

  • Collaborate with other departments to improve financial processes

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in accounting or a willingness to gain experience in this role (we also accept 4th and 5th-year part-time students)

  • Knowledge of accounting principles

  • Good command of English (enough to communicate easily)

  • Proficiency in MS Excel

  • Good organization skills and ability to work under pressure

  • Independence and responsibility

  • Analytical thinking skills

  • Good communication and the ability to express thoughts clearly and concisely

Nice to have:

  • Experience in a similar role (but not a must)

  • Practical knowledge of accounting/financial software (experience with Optimy is a plus)
