Junior Tax Associate - HedgeServ

As part of the Tax Team, the Associate will collaborate closely with team members and be involved with the tax reporting processes for our tax clients. The position will include interaction with global offices.

Responsibilities 

• Preparation of monthly Tax ECDIs

• Running reports and preparing reconciliations

• Preparation of TaxPacks and Taxable Income Summaries

• Provide U.S. tax analysis including, but not limited to the following:

• Wash sales analysis

• ETF/REIT analysis

• Preparation of Forms 1099

• ASC 740 CGT analysis

• Special projects

Pre-Requisite Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

• Completed bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance & computer science

• Excellent Excel skills: operation knowledge of advanced formulas, large data sets, ideally VBA

• Ability to be flexible, self-motivated, and work under pressure under tight deadlines.

• Excellent communication skills with advanced English level

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to be flexible and work effectively both within a team structure and independently
