IT Security Specialist

Your responsibilities

• Responsible for protecting IT systems using technical knowledge and promoting security awareness to the company.

• Creation of operational documentation, guidelines and carry out needs analyzes.

• Point out potential security weaknesses and develop strategies for prevention.

• Support the onboarding process of security services (e.g. SIEM, vulnerability management).

• Working closely with Experts from their respected fields (Offensive security, CERT, SOC).

• Being up to date about relevant new technologies and continuously adapt knowledge to technical progress.

Your profile

• A degree in computer science or a comparable training with a focus on IT security.

• 3+ years of profession experience in the field of IT Security.

• Good knowledge of cyber-attack techniques and strategies for damage limitations.

• Good knowledge of networks, IT infrastructures like Active Directory Service.

• Experience with disaster recovery, AD-hardening.

• Operating systems (Windows and Linux) and OS hardening.

• Knowledge in Windows Defender, McAfee ePO, McAfee EDR, MVISION, TIE, Azure/M365

• Practical experience in the implementation of solutions with Python and automation in the Linux scripting environment.

• Fluent in English C1 (German is a plus)

• Interest in technology and a high hands-on approach.
