YOUR ROLE:
Are you eager to take on a design challenge in an agile working environment? As an intern, you will join our Agile Delivery Organization and support the teams in delivering the best user experience from start to finish. You will collaborate closely with product managers, UX researchers, engineers, data analysts, and other UX experts.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and implementing user interface designs for financial solutions in e-banking, mobile banking, or on ubs.com.
- Collaborate on prototypes and end-to-end experiences.
- Create wireframes and storyboards to conceptualize designs using prototyping skills and visual elements.
- Participate in experience activities to apply your design thinking and growth mindset to develop new digital experiences.
- Support design management activities.
YOUR TEAM:
Channels and Platforms UBS Switzerland is constantly looking for new talents. You`ll be working in the Center of Excellence (CoE) for Client Experience Design team in our Wroclaw office – working hours can be split between UBS office and work-from-home setup. You will work within our Agile Delivery Organization, leading and collaborating closely with product managers, UX researchers, engineers, data analysts and other UX experts. Your paid internship will last 6-12 months based on a 40h/week mode (8h/per day) It is an ideal way to gain the work experience you’ll need to launch your career.
YOUR EXPERTISE:
- Some experience or coursework in UX Design, Interaction, and/or Visual Design (experience in the financial sector is a plus).
- Familiarity with Figma.
- Basic understanding of visual design/layout/typography.
- Awareness of the UX spectrum - discovery and exploration, user research, information architecture, user testing, A/B testing, user journeys.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Effective communication skills in English.
