YOUR ROLE:
Are you independent & self-driven? Do you have solid analytical skills? We are looking for someone to:
develop a deep understanding of risks taken by Group Treasury, such as asset and liabilities management, interest rate risk, liquidity & funding risks
ensure that risks taken are quantified, transparent and within the firm’s risk appetite
identify, monitor and control the risks within your team and ensure an appropriate balance between the risk & return while minimizing potential risk concentrations, comment market and risk developments in risk reports for the Group and the main legal entities
YOUR TEAM:
You will be joining the Treasury Risk Control team in our Business Solutions Centre in Krakow/Wroclaw, where you will work closely with other Treasury risk officers in London, Zürich and APAC. Daily you will work together with colleagues in Treasury Risk Control (TRC), Group Risk Control (GRC), Finance and Group Treasury globally.
YOUR EXPERTISE:
a university degree in economics, finance, mathematics, accounting or other quantitative discipline
excellent English communication skills with the ability to write clear and concise risk analysis to support conclusions
strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as an ability to think critically
basic programming, automation and business intelligence (BI) skills would also be beneficial
able to quickly grasp new concepts and able to perform ad-hoc analysis
able to work productively within a team environment and individually
familiar with or knowledge of risk sensitivities, scenario and statistical risk measures such as VaR
