RESPONSIBILITES:
Performing balance sheet reconciliations including cash transactions reconciliations (e.g. daily cashbooks)
Analysing P&L accounts (mainly OPEX)
Supporting senior colleagues in the preparation and posting of journal entries (allocations, provisions, accruals, reclassifications etc.)
Supporting with month-end and year-end closure activities
Supporting with the preparation of required financial reports
Updating financial data in databases to ensure that information is accurate and immediately available when needed
Cooperating with internal and external auditors
Cooperating with the local finance teams and other Vesuvius departments
Keeping the process documentation up to date
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's or Master’s degree - preferably in Finance, Accounting or a related field
Basic previous experience/internship in the RTR/GL area or another finance area, ideally from an accountancy firm or a SSC/BPO environment – preferred
Good knowledge of English (min. B2 level)
Good MS Excel skills
