Your responsibilities:
Provide consecutive interpreting,
Support various institutions in the US/UK (banks, post offices, medical centers, etc.) which are having difficulties in communicating with foreigners living there due to a language barrier,
Answer requests and interpret real-time conversations both ways via a phone call or video call, using a dedicated application.
Our requirements:
Excellent command of Russian and English- both mandatory,
Excellent listening, retention, and note-taking skills to maintain a high level of accuracy during interpretation,
Being able to empathize with the caller,
You live in Poland and are legally authorized to work in the country,
Shift availability, 8h per day, mainly from 15:00 to 7:00 Monday-Friday,
Have a stable cable internet connection and a calm environment,
Stress resistant - if one of the speakers is incoherent or upset, especially in emergencies such as 911 calls.
