Your responsibilities:
Provide consecutive interpreting,
Support various institutions in the US/UK (banks, post offices, medical centers, etc.) which are having difficulties in communicating with foreigners living there due to a language barrier,
Answer requests and interpret real-time conversations both ways via a phone call or video call, using a dedicated application.
Our requirements:
Excellent command of Ukrainian and English- both mandatory,
Excellent listening, retention, and note-taking skills to maintain a high level of accuracy during interpretation,
Being able to empathize with the caller,
You live in Poland and are legally authorized to work in the country,
Availability 5 days a week, for a 8h per day, from 14:00 till 1:00,
Have a stable cable internet connection and a calm environment to be able to work remotely from home,
Stress resistant - if one of the speakers is incoherent or upset, especially in emergencies such as 911 calls.
